Vintage Holiday Cards

Happy Sunday! S
ince reading Virginia Retro's post about vintage holiday cards I've been very envious of her collection. In fact I've read several posts about blogger's finding fab vintage holiday cards and I was feeling left out!
It's rare that I find any vintage greeting cards at the thrifts until now...

Instant vintage card collection~ yay!!

This Friday I was at the BFM and happened to wander through the books and cards sections when I spotted four mint box sets of cards each priced at a $1 each!! I couldn't believe it since I know antique markets charge a $1 plus per card. There are over 60 cards in total.

An almost complete set of holiday stationary from Hallmark.

  2. Those cards are delightful! They took me back to my childhood...oops...guess I'm dating myself!

    Happy Pink Saturday

  3. i love them all! i am inspired for next year... perhaps a framed gallery wall with all those great colours and retro illustration.

  4. Excellent! I love all the vintage Christmas cards. I found two hauls of vintage cards this week. There was only one Christmas card & it was already used. I only recall seeing cards in an antique mall once & yup, they were a buck.
