This winter has been harsh! Extreme cold temperatures and lots and lots of snow!! Perhaps that is why the thrifts haven't been as fruitful as hoped but I did manage to pick up a few items that remind me that spring will hopefully be here soon.
I was pleased to find a dose of sunshine with this Pyrex Cinderella mixing bowl #444 in the Butterfly Gold pattern for $2.99 from Salvation Army. This is my first piece of Butterfly gold.
A set of Pillsbury Doughboy Salt & Pepper Shakers, dated 1988 made in Taiwan. I bought these at VVs for $1.51 and they are in excellent condition! Lately I've had some good luck with salt and pepper shakers. Don't they cute next to my jar of vintage cookie cutters?
Three vintage circus and floral themed juice glasses, unmarked, I am guessing they are Libbey. I paid 49 cents a piece from Salvation Army. What's with the odd number of glasses at thrift stores??
Lastly I found another amazing vintage table cloth. This
|gorgeous floral printed tablecloth will be perfect for my Spring table. It's in amazing condition with no stains, rips or tears. I love the colours and it was a steal at $2.99 from Salvation Army.|
Looking forward to Spring and what Spring cleaning brings to the Thrifts!
