This week I found some pretty fun and interesting finds at 4 different thrift stores all for $7.50!
Being a teacher, I'm always excited when I find vintage teacher related items. This sweet "Teacher" mug is made in Japan and cost me 50 cents. It will be heading into school with me.
This Johnson Brothers Old Granite Hearts & Flowers oval serving platter was $1.99 and in excellent condition. Perfect for some Valentine's Day baked goodies!
A set of two slate blue Pyrex mugs for a $1!
I have a small collection of tin litho trays which are all Christmas themed. This is my first souvenir tray that features the Hawaiian Islands. Did I mention we are going to Hawaii in March!!!
So I've been looking for a wicker purse for-ever!! Finally found this one. Love it's square shape and leather details. So very Golden Girls!
Until we thrift again...

I was out today and all I came home with were a few books, very dismal. You found some cute treasures though.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I too was surprised with what I managed to find;)
DeleteThat teacher mug is so cute! And I love the tray. I've always wanted to go to Hawaii, lucky you!
ReplyDeleteThe mug is one of my faves! Hawaii has been on my bucket list for years.
DeleteWow. your finds and the prices are both amazing!! I've said it before and I'll say it again, here in California our thrift store prices seem so much higher than elsewhere!!! Momma needs to take a road trip!!! :)

We are fortunate in my city to still have relatively cheap thrift store compared to other large cities.
DeleteLove the teacher mug!! My best friend is a teacher and I would love to find a mug like that. I'll have to keep my eyes open for such a great find!

ReplyDeleteI was very pleased to find this purse. The leather handle is what sold me!
DeleteThe Pyrex mugs are my favorite!!!!

The Pyrex mugs go nicely with a set of striped ones I already had so I was happy to add these to my collection.

Cheers!
PS- congrats on San Fran making it!!! :)
Thanks Wendy! The boys are excited for the Super Bowl! I just joined your Linky Party!
ReplyDeleteI am going to Hawaii in March also :) Oahu-can't wait!
ReplyDeleteI have a bunch of Hawaii tin trays--if you keep your eye open you can score those plate hangers for cheap at thrifts in the Bay Area (where I am assuming you are as well due to the 49ers post) and then you can hang them quite easily.
Found you through Wendy's link...
ReplyDeleteLove that platter. It has a Scandinavian feel, which I LOVE!
Lovely finds, the purse and the oval serving platter are my favorites. Thank you for your visit to my blog. I will add you to my blog roll :)
